He has served as head of the undergraduate Paediatric Education Unit at AAU from 2015 to 2017. Dr Tinsae is a junior clinical researcher, with main areas of interest being Antimicrobial Resistance and Paediatric HIV and related infections. Dr Tinsae is a member of the Ethiopian Paediatric Society, the Ethiopian Medical Association, the African and World Societies of Paediatric Infectious Diseases.
